Silly incident at CrossFit doing a squat snatch and instead of moving away from the bar to let it drop to the ground it dropped on my back whilst somewhat bent over moving, at first I was winded for about 10 minutes and just got up in a little pain and drove home, by the time I got home I couldn’t move and had to go the hospital where I was in tears from the pain and they did an X-ray and some tests and told me to just take care and gave me some Endones, on Monday i had pins and needles in my right leg and went to the doctor and got a CT scan on Tuesday and the radiologist said I better see the doctor urgently, of course I thought here we go LOL and yes I have multiple fractures, it’s called Transverse Process Fractures so from what I understand it’s a 6 week recovery, no damage to my spine or nerves but the neurosurgeon wants me to get a MRI to be certain we don’t need to operate. More on the lucky side of a fracture I’d call it, basically that type of fracture is where the muscles contract to protect itself from impact in things like car accidents and high impact, but they can contract that hard that they pull a chip off the bone.

You just never know what’s around the corner and that cliche saying hasn’t been more true until now.


But the thought of going into that tunnel is somewhat confronting LOL.
