It's now a wait and see process and I agree with the patience approach. I hold a significant ownership in GDN at this time.

However, you and others must appreciate peoples reason for concern and negetivity when they were told on the Friday that it was full steam ahead (drill rate around 20 ft per hour) to the deeper targets only to be told on the Monday of the following week that drilling had been stopped on the Saturday because of drill speed problems. The stock sell off by persons (apparently the day traders RS refers to) who appeared to know news of problems late in the week that the public had to wait until the following Monday to read about was at best pretty unacceptable.

This obscure (pot. misleading) reporting was the company's fault and has left a bad taste in some peoples mouths. If some of the shareholders - not day traders - have gone from this company because of that event then, sadly, so be it but shareholders who relied on the company announcements that the true drill targets were the deeper levels only to be advised of a massive backflip two days later have a right to be negative towards this management.

But that type of reporting is in the past, never to be repeated (mmmm), and we must move on.

If larger gas pockets are deeper then they will be found in subsequent wells or even Par 2# at a later date.

I agree that commercialising the shallow levels (if they prove to be commercial) makes good business sense and shareholders will see a resulting improvement in their SP.

I look forward to some great results in the near future but will not be surprised if the gas potential goes up in smoke either. I wait with guarded anticipation of good news - as do the day traders.
