One of my concerns with them building double brick is they need ppl on a ewp grinding out slots to put wall ties in, it was a commercial build with big rooms openings they won’t be able to use a ewp on a residential build, they’ll be walking around with a ladder which then brings safety into it, climbing up and down with a grinder. It’ll be a smaller build they be working under the boom which is another safety factor, will the hx have to stop work while they do that? Can they work in close proximity of the laying head? The flashing is another concern, I dont no what they did on the commercial build regarding flashing but on the residential build they had manual bricklayers doing the outside leaf so they could brick windows in put flashing in, put columns in cavities, how will they do this if it lays the internal and external leaf? It’s all good and well to lay bricks fast but there’s more to it when building a house than just laying bricks.
