Paradice has fallen under the 5% after the NTM merger. So not sure if they are holding onto DCN or not. They are momentum investor and will only invest when DCN SP starts moving strongly again,
I suspect the current SP weakness is due to selling by previous NTM holders since they would want to preserve their gain and move to some other gold miners. I can remember the same thing happen when RMS merge with another company. The SP was in a doldrums for some months before it goes nut!! I suspect Paradice is still waiting in the wing and when DCN SP starts moving beyond 45c, they will move in again and that will really cause a surge in DCN SP.
We are only 7 months away from being totally out of 1) hedging and 2) debt. If LJ can skillfully navigate out of these two restraints, I am very very sure that DCN SP will explode. They are not too many gold miners out of hedging(in a rising GP environment!!!) and out of debt in the rank of small-mid cap gold miners.
I for one have not and will not be selling a single DCN share.
Cheers. DYOR
