Your last comment demonstrates why you are not running a litigation funding business.

Before CHM secured this funder they would have had to present their case to the funder and their lawyers who would have made a decision of if they believed there is a case and the chances of success.

CHM would have had to present its two cases.

The funder by now would have invested millions in getting the large case ready to go to court in March just gone by (delayed by your co-defendents)and for the Koh and Evans matter they are going to court in August.

The funder would not be spending this money only to walk away before this matter can be heard in court. They would have set aside all the funds to run the cases through to the end including I suspect if required any appeals you would expect from either side from the first results.

I still think if I was an MMX holder I would be worried by the fact that MMX has stated in court their defence in the main case is the defence of Grimaldi and Barnes.

ie The current board who were not there at the time are relying on the word of the founders who have all moved on.

Ultimately I think that MMX will be a huge success.

Its got some serious international investors controlling a larg part of the stock.

It has one of the largest companies in the world as a partner in its IO assets.
Same partner is partner in port deal which is seen as a vital infrastructure project for WA

    Produces IO and therefore cashflow

Its black cloud is its past and how the assets were acquired. I think the chairman was to fast off the mark in going on the offensive in these matters. Original statements are far different to what is said now.

Why bet the farm until you know what really occurred ? At the time they were caught up in a takeover which made statements even more dangerous.

MMX will one day really shine but not before the two CHM issues are dealt with which could still be years unless they bite the bullet and settle.
