So blockchain would be the ultimate fiat currency then, with every transaction recorded and traceable. Although they could do that anyway with keycards, eftpos and a cashless economy. Crypto cannot expand or contract as required for capitalism, so an economy of crypto is impossible. The economy would continually crash. What I think they will do is just an RFID implant like your dog or cat gets, but your money balance, your identity, position and authority will be installed on that for quick scanning. Your iris can be used for quick identification.
