OTT pay TV? rofl.. wtf. You think EM1 is going to be Netflix or something? First they're not the Netflix of Gaming.. now they're just the Netflix.
You really don't understand EM1's business model.
Their OTT will be something along the lines of providing cheap / free / multicast game related content like... Twitch Streams, eSports, etc. Which they'll then have "sponsorship" showing above / below the stream.. or embedded into the streams. They'll use that to market to big companies for ad revenue / sponsorship money.
That is the WHOLE point of the Arcade-X platform... which is why they claim that the prizes are "sponsored" by Red Bull, etc (which they aren't). Its a proof of concept for other companies to pay Emerge Gaming to advertise their brand name with a supply of free merch. Everything Greg Stevens has done in his career has been about marketing and sponsorship... not gaming.. not tech.. not anything netflix related. Its all about how he can get companies to pay money to them, by having their ad being viewed, not that much different from companies paying money for their products being placed in TV shows / movies / etc...
Only problem is Greg still doesn't have a product which is impressing companies to get on board. Most of the ASX announcements are more aimed at clients and not investors. "A truly international product with 150 countries around the world"... thats him trying to say.. "Hey Coca Cola and other international brands... pay us money and we'll say all the prizes are sponsored by you". Or in the case of OTT "pay us money to and we'll see this content is sponsored by you and have an advert showing to the viewers".
Emerge Gaming has no interest in dealing with end users... they're a B2B company.
