    I see your points, lucky, even though they are a tad simplified. That said, consider the newer EV's due out next year, like the NIO ET7 with a 150KWH battery with 1,000 KM range and enough juice to power your house for 3 to 4 days - yes you can plug it in to the house. What a lot of the detractors fail to appreciate about this space (EV's and battery tech) is that its moving at subluminal speed - the norm today is not the norm tomorrow. The legacy manufacturers see and understand this dynamic, thus the inevitable swing towards electric. I guarantee that within 10 years you will be behind the wheel of an EV; probably with a solid state battery with a range of 1,200KMS, and your grandkids will be making fossil fuel car jokes at your expense: "Hay, gramps, can we go and dig up one of your old cars to put in the museum?"
