Thank you so much @Fact Finder for posting again. I went to bed last night with a very heavy heart. When I checked in here today, it was so comforting to see that red heart! Like most public forums, this one can become very turbulent at times. The difference here is your ability to pour oil on troubled waters and bring serenity.

I do wish you were experiencing that same serenity in your own life right now. I pray that the diagnostic processes will indicate continued remission for your loved one and that the scan will not be necessary. I hope you realise just how fondly you are thought of on this forum and that I speak for many folk here who would do anything they possibly could to help out. You only need ask. But as you and I both know, some health issues cannot be solved with money or overwhelming support from others, no matter how well intentioned. Nevertheless, I believe that it will warm your heart to know that there's a large number of folk here who wish only the best for you and your loved ones.

Your writings here have revealed rare levels of understanding, analytical thought, empathy, clarity, thoughtfulness, wisdom, presented in a very readable manner with a sprinkling of appropriate humour. Those who have followed your posts have come to think of you as a dear, respected friend and we wish only the best for you and yours.
