What I actually found more interesting than Brainchip's presentation was the ARM presentation. There isn't currently a YouTube video available, but the presentation slides can be found here for those that are interested:

ARM's presentation was about converting ML models from 32 bits down to 16 or 8bits in Tensorflow to achieve similar accuracy with reduced memory and bandwidth, so that it suited to run on an ARM NPU.
Some of the methods like quantization and pruning have been around for years, but it seems to be a bit of a coincidence that ARM is presenting on almost the exact same thing as Brainchip, with the exception of Brainchip using smaller parameters.
