It is interesting in a typical Aussie pub down the far end of the bar will often be the abusive looser with a failed marriage and an up coming court appearance for driving while disqualified and drink driving spewing his bitter outlook on life.

The barmaid to keep the peace nods with condescending approval at his many rants and theories but otherwise takes no notice The rest of the patrons do the same. The idea that anyone would actually listen and or seek his advice does not arise.

Occasionally one of the young cockies back home during his break from AG college, after a couple will siddle up to him and take the p... to the amusement of some but basically for all intents and purposes this person is on ignore.

Then one day he is missing and a regular says to the bar maid. “Where’s d-head?” “Social media.”
