That's what I got out of this announcement. Once you name an animal, it becomes a pet, so it seems The Talon has become EM2's new pet and is getting preferential treatment.

The drilling at the north-east has delineated an edge to mineralisation, but the drilling to the south is adding to the pathfinder element mapping for vectoring studies, and the intercalation of the bornite/chalcocite/chalcopyrite is strong indication that the drilling is proximal to a larger, more intensely mineralised source. This is a great result.

In terms of the Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE), all of the drilling that has been done since EM2 took over the place will add to it when it is time to do an upgraded MRE (planned for later this year). Currently the spacing is too large to have a material impact, but this wasn't the intent of these drill holes. They needed to have greater step outs to target where to do infill for a revised MRE. It isn't called infill drilling without end points to drill between!

The new intersected mineralisation is fantastic, plenty of colour to get excited about. Looking forward to seeing the results of the assays.

Importantly the company is pushing tracks in to make drill pads in steep terrain. This is an expensive and time consuming exercise, and can only happen when the case for prospectivity is good enough to justify it, which clearly it is now. This is a solid sign of confidence The Talon is expected to have significant mineralised intercepts, a lot of anticipation is being built into the next few holes.

So much to look forward to.

PAC Partners released an updated valuation today...target price $1.51 (previously $0.76). The analyst has been spot on with this and his research convinced me to start accumulating at around 20c. Catalyst for upgrade is OREX to host a resource as big as, if not bigger than Oracle Ridge.
