After a lengthy hiatus, I chose a wonderful time to re-enter the market - first week of October 2008.
By March 2009, portfolio was -33%
Now, June 2009, portfolio is +13%
An amazing turnaround, and it took a lot of spine, to stay cool in the crisis.
Creamed the performance of most super fund managers in the country this financial year.
Not bad for an amateur...
