I sold out two or three years ago once I learnt of the petition against the mine was signed by 10,000 persons. That seemed too many people for a local government to go against.
I bought back yesterday, and again today. reading between the lines of the announcement it is my interpretation that the EC's desire to combat climate change will trump local concerns over preservation of historical cultural issues. it's still a speculative bet, but I'm now betting the mine will get approved.
