I'm not as impressed as you Paydirt. I am a long term holder and MYS is approx 30% of my portfolio. I don't have the spare cash to take up the offer, so I will be diluted by 20%. The 8.3% you mention is very good I agree and the main reason I have stuck with MYS for the last 10 years, but if the growth does not materialise then surely the dividend will reduce by 20%. They had a load of spare cash from not paying a dividend 6 months ago - what happened to that? Shareholders should be allowed to vote on this.
