A lot of detailed work has now been completed to fully model/‘simulate’ the movement and shape of the individual pixel. They can now very accurately simulate the precise physical acoustic sound pressure generation. That wasn’t previously possible, if I understood this correctly. ‘In the context of micro-scale systems, previously we could only make empirical measurements.’
(From the illustrations shown in exquisite detail, does this imply there’s been a fundamental redesign of the pixel shape?)
