Granted, many APA holders simply want the twice yearly dividends but this presentation has many facts and figures, and increased my knowledge of APA.

Page 22 where APA claims that pipeline gas (from Oz to local households and businesses) is cheaper than liquefied natural gas import terminals such as the discarded one at Crib Point on the Mornington Peninsula (Vic) or the still to be considered Port Kembla, NSW version is an interesting perspective.

With the current worries about mainland Chinese aggression towards Oz, and community concern about energy security, this could be a very big winner for APA in time.

APA highlights gas peaking plants with a recent example of how South Australia coped on 12 May 2021.

However it could do more to emphasise how commentators like Terry McCrann of 'The Australian'/'Herald Sun' et al are correct when they assert wind and solar energy are useless on many nights in Australia. There isn't any generation from either!

The high amount of subsidies Australian governments throw at 'renewables' (despite limited lifespans of items like solar panels) could be mentioned more. APA wants its share of this pie.

Tying up 11 per cent of the USA landmass for a claimed '100 per cent renewable energy by 2050' goal seems ludicrous, suboptimal and unrealistic.
