It is in the Prospectus for 4DS IPO (reverse takeover in fact) send to ASX at the end of 2015.

You can easily mist it as it is at the end of the paragraph about the Joint Developpement Agreement (13.4) but on another page.

"4DS grants an option (LicenseOption) to HGST to take a non‐exclusive license for HGST to use 4DS's technology for up to 20 years from exercise of the License Option. Whilst the quantum of the license fees is confidential, the fees payable are lower than the fees 4DS expects to be able to generate from licensing the technology to other parties if the technology can be successfully commercialised."

This is also interesting :

"the parties jointly own all intellectual property jointly created under the JDA,and each party has a license to use such intellectual property on a royalty free basis"

For me, it means that HGST has the right to use the 4DS cell now on a royalty free basis, provided that they do not use the technology described on the first 8 4DS patents, not covered by the JDA (granted before the JDA).
