I believe you've misunderstood my statement about my experience being unique. I'm not stating that I can predict where APX will end up by the year end. Stock brokers are better suited to analyse that from the market sentiment. I'm sure others who have followed the charts since IPO will have their finger closer to the pulse of where the bottom or top of the market may be.
What I meant is that there are very few people who have experience in these research domains at the same level. The specific domain applications are still viewed as leading edge (even after 15 years of being in these industries). Combining that with people who've worked on the data annotation challenges that Appen face, is actually quite small. Even less when you limit this to Australia or people looking at APX.
From my perspective, knowledge of the underlying tech matters very little. The business management is far more important in maintaining share holder confidence.
