Thanks Pabs, my concern was more along the lines
of cost, the race is on to produce the cheapest EV,
hence the sodium ion battery eliminates the need
for these more costly precious materials, along
with graphite anodes as they are not compatible
in sodium ion batteries (from what I understand),
although I’m no expert and would not be across their commercial viability at this stage,
I take your point that Li-ion batteries are a stable safe
option thus far, albeit a lot can change in 2 years by
the time Talga gets the factory cranking ( that’s the risk,
hopefully we’re not building a future anode factory for
yesterday’s tech).
