You're absolutely right. The SPP is not necessary for the day traders, it stop the momentum of the rising trend. Day trader can trade along the upward line over the next 5 years till the price reached $5+. Now they only have 2-3 years time frame since the program is much shorten.
The SPP damages day traders for the sake of long term holders !!!
