Actually listed companies are obliged in law to monitor forums . It is provided in summary form by some services listed companies subscribe to and others actually have staff member look.
Beware a company who doesn't realise the value in communicating with its owners especially in the world where shareholders can communicate directly amongst themselves no matter what size holding they have. Lat thing a company wants is activist shareholders so much better to keep shareholders satisfied with level of information response they are receiving. Better for management have shareholders who understand products and markets than ignorant ones so they can further milk them for funds if required later. .
I hope the company you run and your staff with that attitude all the best - IMO it will need it.
