Hi Guys

Crazy day today, I understand the MSCI rebalancing being the explanation for the closing Auction but what about the Dump of ~250m shares during the day today are we to believe that retail holders dumped this many shares, I have a theory here and before I go on I must point out this is just conjecture and I am only trying to connect dots, rightly or wrongly time will be the ultimate judge.

What if the ~120m shares held short were moved back from one broker to another (left hand to the right) in an orchestrated dump which mopped up any further loose retail shares along the way. What if multiple brokers have been working together for the same buyer and we are now seeing the consolidation of multiple holdings held at arms length from one another and acquired through different brokers for a conglomerate of companys belonging to one ( big pharma) and these shares are now being consolidated into that parent entity which will announce as a New substantial shareholder and quite possibly a hostile T/O.

I guess if we see the short position disappear in a few days when the data comes out we will know, and most likely will get a new substantial holder statement to accompany, or maybe Trading Halt in the morning anything's possible after a day like today. It certainly feels like this is approaching the end game after such Volume.
