Seems like a good decision. A small company that cannot possibly cover the full marketplace ...basically expanding their sales force for no opex... and hopefully the margins will be high. The license fees should be 100% margin so gross equals net. At even reasonable product margins this should be quite margin and EBIT dollar accretive. Very little added cost and scale up accelerates. It strikes me that the seven year term implies both parties think it can work.
I am beginning to believe that they might actually get to the $40M... and have made another purchase today
