Not directed at anyone but related to what you have posted.

FOMO just like the Oz Real estate market or cryptocurrency is not helpful to oneself. In my suburb houses are selling for more than 25-40% from their previous highs a couple of years ago and there no overseas buyers coming over the weekend to buy whole apartment buildings. Newer suburbs are being established and new cryptos are being issued, and Bitcoin too can extend supply if they really want it, so the limited supply is a myth mostly.

The only difference with Race is mgmt’s reluctance to dilute the register that holds down the supply of SOI despite huge demand and recent CR. This strict control on Race SOI would definitely cause a demand spike from time to time, and I am guessing that higher the price, lower will be the traded volume. Also, as we get more positive trial anns, people will think that we are getting closer to knocking on big pharma which will both result in an increased SP with hope for a transaction. So again SH may be reluctant to trade due to CGT reasons forcing the volume down to a trickle.

So the question then becomes will one buy early no matter the price and hold for CGT discount or, trade their holdings or wait to purchase shares after more positive trial news but may be less than 12 months for the CGT window?

I have tried to buy and hold as pennies of SP movement (waiting for current SP to go down by a few cents) could cost dollars in CGT or lost opportunity later.
