Unfortunately not all countries have the option of implementing existing renewable technologies like solar, wind, etc.
In Oz we can, as we have vast resources of wind and solar which we are only just starting to utilise.
However some countries around the world don't have any solar or wind resources (or geothermal for that matter).
So the best option for these countries is nuclear. It is better than burning coal or gas, as the final process of generating electricity is emission free, although the mining, processing isn't.
However if carbon capture & storage is fully developed then this may change the situation again.
Renewable is clearly the best option at the end of the day.
Also, why hasn't there been any updates lately? No updates seem to drag the share price down.
