Wow, who'd have thunk you could drill granite in the wheat belt and get kaolin? Groundbreaking stuff. I am surprised they don't report the halloysite as a separate resource since it broadly seems not to overlap the high-brightness kaolin on the cross sections.

I wonder how these guys will go competing with, eg, WAK with 650Mt of high-ISO kaolin at Wickepin 200km SW, or SUV or, well, any number of others.

Funny how Scarpa just regurgitates bog standard JORC diagrams. The thing about clays and going forward is;

• proving up the non-assayable (non-chemical) properties is key for qualification into the various grades of kaolin, eg, use in paper, ceramic, or other applications
• PFS will have to be qualified with metallurgy, not just infill drilling to get M&I resources; screening tests (Dry vs wet), size fraction analysis, etc etc
• Commercialisation will rely on the qualification by end-users, and their offtakes (eg; consider the SUV / WAK / ADN binding offtake vs MOU level vs uncommitted production profiles of their forward sales book)
• If this doesn't dry screen to produce a 45um clay product, then it will be difficult to see this rocketing forward due to the difficulty in getting (fresh) water in the eastern wheatbelt, which is why several known deposits in the Southern Cross / Bruce Rock area remain stranded

Still, a solid first step.
