Adam:
Your comment shows total ignorance for the lithium space.
I'd be worried if we did not have huge offtakes from China, and this 'worry' about China is a total furphy used by trolls to downramp AVZ
Why?
Because China are the biggest market and largest producer of lithium products and lithium-ion batteries.
This is a big positive that the biggest market players see us as their source of lithium in the expansion plans!
And.....they won't be shutting down exports from AVZ because there is not another hard rock
(preferred by battery makers) lithium resource of the highest quality large enough to meet their expansion plans! At the Melbourne presso Nigel Ferguson, Managing Director of AVZ stated encouragingly that the big majors like Gangeng wanted to squeeze more offtake from AVZ!
The Chinese have been well aware of this for years knowing their own domestic supply of lithium is not nearly enough to meet their demands.
As the Chinese once reported way back in 2017:
"There are few lithium resources in the United States and Europe and China relies on external supply."
" Who controls the lithium supply chain will control the future of electric vehicles."
AVZ is the most critical asset globally & the Saudi Arabia of lithium both in terms of being bigger than all other hard rock listed lithium companies combined & tin(3rd largest globally-potential to be the biggest when you add alluvial to eluvial sources)
and tantalum credits.
