Those prop bids aren't there to trick retailers, they're there to somewhat trick the algo's and half the time it's also an algo throwing those bids on.
algo's look for certain amount of volume and depth, so it happens across all stocks and it's the start of a move not the end in this case; for the algo's to start being more active it needs the signals like bigger buy depths cos retailers certainly aren't coming up with that....well at least the most intelligent ones aren't throwing the kitchen sink at a microcap stock and knowing how to manage portfolio position sizing.
so to dispel conspiracy theories, it works in our favour here and it's intended to act as a fuel to start the engine moving cos everyday retailers won't get things going, it's a collective process but the catch is the big funds can't even buy yet until PUR hits over $100m market cap and sustains it; then things will get interesting
