They are buying twisto who is in eastern Europe. Not western Europe. They are deliberately not entering most of the western Europe mkt as Klarna and Clearpay saturation (mostly Klarna)
The challenge they have with western Europe is it's very much still a cash driven economy on that side. Not at all like ANZ region.
Will be 20 years before those regions in eastern Europe are at the same level of digital payments that ANZ region is at today.
i like the Saudi one more since there they are not allowed to have credit cards. But also existing competition pay all their fees back into the economy as it's illegal to keep late fees there due to Shara laws!
It could be a hit and miss with these two new acquisitions. Nothing like the quadpay acquisition; quadpay was a great buy imho.
