The Government fund granted SPL $1M. They also granted Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute $2.16M to develop an anti viral nasal spray for cancer sufferers as a protection against Covid 19.
The interesting thing here is that they commenced human trials and were recruiting from December 2020. They claim it is also a broad spectrum anti viral and includes the drug "Interferon". They claim it will not be absorbed into the blood stream. I am unaware of progress to date.
This could possibly be a serious competitor to Viraleze
So why haven't our management decided to run a proper human trial to validate the product which in turn will attract the attention of authorities. If Peter Mac can so can we.
And whilst talking about trials where are the results of the WA run trial? It's now a couple of months since completion!!
