Wow how the chatter has increased on this stock. Although a relative newcomer to hotcopper, I was immediately talking about this stock as I have held it for at least 3 years. Bought in on the China story when it was originally discovered and was then impressed when they turned up with the original 30% in senegal and the American assets. Kept faith and bought down to 4c and now sitting even. I WONT be selling if shell pulls out as the company has some great assets in the US of A close to existing infrastructure etc etc. I like the company, apart from those options, it gets in on the ground level and if it ever strikes it big it will be huge because of that fact. For those buying in now DYOR and have a look at the other assets, you'll like what you see in terms of ground floor entry. What's that thing that's a virtue?

Although not rewarded in the hip pocket as yet, all FAR shareholders have been granted an absolute gift when hunt pulled out. For those that don't know, they couldn't risk funding the drilling of senegal as the major partner due to the collapse. They faced losing the permit and legal action from the government due to time constraints and thus wiped their hands of it and handed it to FAR. Therefore, FAR if shell goes though will end up with double the ownership of the field (that they would've had) plus the $ from the agreement. Those who didn't believe sold out. So that is the question, do you believe in the company's ability to come up trumps?

My answer is YES, so I won't be selling. There will be life after senegal. It's just that life will be so much better with it.
