    great post Ned - I've also had similar thoughts.
    my basic position about Fex is that it is not well understood by fundies in a broader sense - it isn't on their radar.
    the smarter ones like regal and familiy offices have jumped into other jrns like TI1, CAP & SRK but they are thin on the ground.

    I reckon we need to do something with the cash and once this happens we will see dynamic uplift, especially if we get a similar asset in the same location that is less developed.

    to your point about exploration vs mining - the market seems to go nuts for "potential" and less nuts for actual fcf.
    look at GRR, a wonderful free cash flow machine but that is the biggest yawn in the biz. I own it but it barely moves.

    I actually think that FEX management are amongst the sharpest in the biz and will make some vgood next steps.
    To that end I think we will have few small break outs followed by a significant move which will reflect our NAV

    to conclude I think the answer for Fex is yes. it could well happen sooner than we all think as well. here hoping!
