Thanks for a very informative explaination of directional,horizontal verse convential drilling.
Also re Law of Capture etc.
Now could you explain the possible scenarios in 14 metres of a oil column mostly net paye in Snatcher verse 4.5 metres in Butler BPT that produced 2500 bpd but on a large choke and low pressure etc. or 17 metres in Houvea that produced 5000bopd.
What I am trying to understand better is the variables of reserviours and permability that relate to expected flows, Then the reason for such variation between tested flow rates and the final actual production rates. Finally how easy is it to stuff up the well with mud rates or is that mostly temporary.??????????
