Sure, I am happy to answer your question. I have occasionally given Rufus a little smack when he is being cheeky but I don't think I have ever beaten him. You mention desire in your signature, so maybe you will understand and be satisfied with an answer of "mu".
To address your points:
- "poor likelihood of patents": The very subject of the thread we are in is that a patent has been granted in the EU! To join the one already granted in Australia, I would say prospects in the USA are excellent (bordering on inevitable).
- "shifting focus from one lead horse to another. Covid being a prime example": They have stated numerous times that COVID is not their focus, rather that there is compelling science to explore and at very little cost. It would be crazy to ignore the evidence and the opportunity.
- "never finished a phase II trial": LUPIN was a Phase 2 trial!
As for hype -- well, this is completely subjective, but as a non-holder, why does this bother you?
