Don't take it to heart, has happened to me many times, just have to keep reminding yourself why you bought in the first place. I have also learnt to take profits on the way up. I held and kept topping up on both CNB and PFT for 5 months last year until they became 80% of my portfolio, then held while they both dropped about 70%, draining me completely. So we all make mistakes but the best of us learn from them. Good luck.
