you can't "buy" the staff. nothing to stop them from leaving or starting their own venture. doubt there are any real stars there anyway, i.e. your Miyamoto and Kojima types that continuously churn out gold.
at present, none of their IP is particularly valuable. doubt there is much outside interest in acquiring it.
maybe u can make an argument that they are buying a backdoor into listing on the ASX, but there are cheaper companies they can buy to achieve that aim. besides, ASX not sophisticated enough for tech or gaming stocks. we just like banks and companies that dig holes in the ground
