There's definitely a part of the young community that are interested in old cars. However, I reckon it's different to the past. There are several subcultures these days. Some are more into it because of the artistic, creative side. It's much more about art culture for them. Some are just into performance. And it won't be long before we have the old car, electric conversion group which is somewhere in the middle. This group is growing already however the cost of components is holding it back a bit. I know several people that are very keen to convert their old bangers to electric drive.
That said, there are more and more kids these days that will never drive a car. Ever. They simply won't need to.
