As someone that previously held shares, but sold off because of cash burn and inability to set and complete timeline targets, this is a concern.
It is not only the fact that the presentation was inaccurate, it comes off to an outsider (which I now am) as deceptive.

Personally, I steer clear of anything remotely suggestive of a deceptive board.

My comment may not be popular, but the board needs to take note - your investors are spending serious money pinning hopes on your technology, your staff are spending (hopefully) serious hours to make things happen. You need to be the bridge between the two that keeps things straight, true and to the point. No fluff, no mud in the water.
