The shortest dominant cycle identified is 7 days by the cycle finder. However, as you are well aware of, there are several dominant cycles of various cycle periods impacting on the share price at any one time. So you can't ignore the effect of the other longer cycles.
Because of this I prefer to use an edge band transaction timing signal rather than purely cycle projections. Thus when you get an edge band transaction timing signal, and this occurs together with a projected cycle turning point, then you have more confidence that indeed the signal is going to "work" as projected. This is only for swing traders.
