If Volt is giving Laundry the good oil then it must be Martis who is in McHughs ear (2 of the most famous bears I know). Armstrong cycle bottoms in mid 2011 and "2" years are famous for being lows in the decade cycle so I was thinking sometime between those 2 cycle lows for a ulimate low. I was interested to note on break points chart they have one more possible leg up....maybe.... and then the final bear market wave down to what looks like mid 2011 on their charts.

If we look at the closest precident to this bear (the 1930s bear) we see that the 1942 low was a tad over 10% lower than the 1938 low. The trendline on the chart below suggests it may be the same this time with an ultimate DOW low of around 6000 if we were to bottom aroung 2012.
