There is not a hydrogen industry yet so it will take time along with grid planning as I was eluding to. Big batteries are the next thing the big power companies are looking serious at.
Powering hydrogen plants with green power will not be an issue when it comes to FID.
Recently the grid has reached 50% renewables a few times throughout the day so PPAs will not be an issue when an export plants finally become a reality.
