If that were close to true, then in the company documentation they wouldn't JUST say "creates ozone in ambient air"

They don't state they can produce hydroxyl radicals in ambient air, just ozone..

Here is another thought, suppose they could produce either ozone or hydroxyl radicals in ambient at the push of a button. Firstly the following about high Hydroxyl radical concentrations indoors .....
"These findings force a change in our understanding of indoor air quality because the reactivity linked to OH would involve formation of secondary species through chemical reactions that are potentially more hazardous than the primary pollutants in the indoor air."

Perhaps not such a good idea?? Do you like breathing nitrous acid?

The problem is that both ozone and hydroxyl free radicals, because they are free radicals, change other chemicals into a whole range of different chemical reactions, hence why I've raised in the past about testing of the air coming out of these units for air quality, not just the ability to kill bugs.

Yes any of these free radical generators will kill bugs, but the big weakness of ALL free radical generators including those currently on the market, is both the residual ozone and hydroxyl radicals and the chemical compounds they form from common indoor 'smells'.

When I first invested in PO3 I couldn't wait to get a unit or 2 for our house, plus coolrooms etc. After lots of research I now understand that I don't want any of these units in any indoor space, whether ozone, or hydroxyl, or combination of both.

There is already a myriad of different ozone generators and hydroxyl generators for sale in the market, none of these others have found there way into major brands air purifiers, nor have the major companies put their own versions into common household products. They are aware of the problems associated with these generators.

Ozone and hydroxyl generators are a niche market now, not a mass market, so Purifloh will be competing with a range of existing players in an existing small market place. Not the type of tech that can change the world by being 'unique'.
