I disagree with SCNDL1 because the above claims by IGE in my opinion are not a big difference to saying money is in the bank. The above claims are still potentially a breach of the Corporations Act if the were not true.

The fact is that IGE announced something (that being funding was secured, and money in bank was imminent), when in fact this did not appear to be correct. The company was meant to have 100's millions in funding, when in fact the company is now in liquidation.

It may be possible that IGE has breached Section 1041E of the Corporations Act 2001, that is they may have provided false or misleading statements.

Like I said I don't like what has gone down and you maybe correct in them breaching Act.

Unfortunately I never did good at school and was an absolute disaster when it came to English but to me, "money is in the bank" & "money in the bank is imminent" are about alike as "Black" & "White". Maybe I am being overtly literal here but I am sure that's the level of nit-pick'n any legal council will take.
