@chris; Melbourne's lockdown is unlikely to end just because Morrison and O'Brien are rejecting expert medical advice in their puerile efforts to undermine Victorians' fight against Covid19 by projecting themselves as 'saviours'.
Victoria's CHO; Brett Sutton; has already explained that the lockdown is not about about being politically popular, it's about stopping community transmission of the virus.
Sutton further explained that once it was clear that lines of community transmission have been ring-fenced that restrictions could begin to ease - not when Morrison spews his populist crap all over Victorians who do know what really has to be done.
Morrison would be better advised to actually do his own job and to thereby attend to:
1. His disgusting, neglectful and very poorly regulated private aged care sector - now twelve months on from when he promised to do so.
2. The federal government's vaccine rollout program - already running four months behind schedule despite heavy interventions from state governments to fix his mess for him.
3. His abdication of responsibility under the Constitution for quarantine - even waging populist wars against Queensland for requesting a special facility.
