the new government had a no u mining policy so i dont know what to make of this statement.
nevertheless, the important thing is that it appears the issue is not closed and there is room for negotiations. the guys they just hired could be pivotal in such negotitations and i personally believe the company should be congratulated on these appointments. this u mining issue is a 'make or break' and they have acted swiftly and proactively by making these appointments. these 2 guys will clearly be highly respected and recognised within the country by the people, politicians, academia, and business. much better chance of getting the desired result with these guys on board
