But you forgot one risk. Apparently, in the recent talks with the US and other nations concerned with climate change, Rudd will soon announce that, because the next few years are so crucial in the fight against global warming, each month will now be officially 182 days long. A Rudd spokesman said "We owe it to the environment to give ourselves more time and as a result of these decisive actions, we wont reach 2015 until at least 2030". Sources say Rudd is particularly pleased because it gives him another reason to delay the $500mill REDP grants that he promised in 2007, and which have now been whittled down to $300mill (so that the solar carve out can be delayed even longer!!)
