I agree with love, Alcoa reported a $US1b loss last year, and a US$430m loss in just Q1 this year. They have reportedly cut capex by 80% this year. Make no mistake Alcoa are in the shit and not at all looking for expansion. IMO there is a real chance they will mothball some of the Australian smelters. They will not spend cash if the don't have to, they will delay all projects as much as they can.
