Probably looking elsewhere at the moment I reckon ......
Because once again folks , Quebecers will be dancing in the streets of Montreal and everywhere in Quebec as their Victorious HAB's have just made a clean sweep of the Winnipeg Jets by winning game 4 in their quarter final Stanley Cup series held at the Bell Centre in Montreal. They were also deemed the underdogs in this series as well .....believe it or not.
So there is a lot of similarities between Sayona's fight for Quebec Lithium Supremacy and this 2021 version of this Iconic Montreal Canadiens Ice Hockey Club with its tenacious fight to overcome whatever odds are thrown its way.
So after making history by eliminating the heavily favored Toronto Maple Leafs in the last series , and who they hadn't met in a Stanley Cup Playoff series since 1979 , they now advance to a semi final series where they may have the potential in meeting their greatest ever rivals and one of perhaps the greatest ever rivals in sport ; the Boston Bruins who are currently trailing the NY Islanders in their best of seven quarter finals 3 games to 2.
So history does seem to be being made here in Montreal and Quebec folks , where if they end up meeting the Boston Bruins , they haven't met this other original 6 team in an overall NHL league semi final since 1978 when the Canadiens won it at the halfway mark in overtime in game 7 from a beautifully fed centering pass from the right wing from Mario Trembley to Yvon Lambert who put it away into the openside of another famous Frenchman Goalie in Gilles Gilbert who had no chance on the play.
Of course the Montreal fans will remember vividly the similarities of the 1993 semi final series as well when they defeated the NY Islanders in 5 games to go on to defeat the LA Kings and win the Stanley Cup in also 5 games. And this would be the last time the Canadiens won the Cup.
So there is a lot of history riding on this year's Stanley Cup playoff challenge by this Iconic Montreal Canadiens hockey club , with some of the club records currently set to be re-written. So we can start by the Clubs 7 game winning streak which is only 2 off its previous 9 game streak also in the 1993 series with the Islanders which was cut short in game 4 when the Islanders won their only game in that series. On top of that , we also have this 2021 club of the tricolour's having currently played a total of 437.93 consecutive minutes of Hockey where they were either at level scores or leading their opponents in a playoff series.
So with that , it would seem that they are now less than 1 game ( 60 minutes of regulation time ) away from matching their own Club's and NHL league record of not trailing in a playoff series for consecutive minutes played of 488.38 and which was set by perhaps the Greatest Ice Hockey side of all time being that of the 1960 Montreal Canadiens who also hold the current record of the ONLY club in NHL history to go totally undefeated for an ENTIRE playoff series as well as the ONLY NHL club to have ever notched up 5 consecutive Stanley Cups Finals a row.
Should the 2021 Montreal Canadians go on to win this year's Stanley Cup , they will become the 25th in their Club's History which would be almost double to that of the next closest rival club in Toronto who hasn't won the Cup since Canada's confederation in 1967 .
So what does this have to do with Sayona you say. Well ......just as the Hab's are on the precipice of making Ice Hockey Club History , so to does it seem that Quebec is making history in it's ' race ' to beat ALL comers in the North America by becoming the FIRST Provincial or State Team to produce the valuable EV Chemicals of Lithium Hydroxide ......and so obviously Sayona is clearly on that chosen Team as well.......
And I do like being a part of History when it is being made. Especially when I have what looks to be ' Front Row ' seats at the Game......
