BNY Mellon were the market maker when prima biomed now immutep first listed on Nasdaq....
basically anyone who wanted to buy PBMD now IMMP from the ASX had to buy them through
BNYM to be converted to ADR's and thus tradeable on the Nasdaq....
When BNYM advises the ASX of changed holdings it is a compilation of the shares held as ADR's
on Nasdaq by individual holders......
i:e when BNYM say they hold 34% that is the percentage holding in the USA of total Immutep
shares on issue but that total could have any number of individual shareholders....
note: disallowed Immp board has some 9000 followers, just say 6000 of them hold ADR's, that
means 6000 holders combined plus any other holder not registered on disallowed, say another
4000 holders contribute to BNYM stated 34% holding.
OK, so 10,000 USA investors hold 34% of Immuteps total share issue....
BNYM, itself has no voting power as a stand alone entity...
